An EV charger, or Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE), supplies electricity to recharge plug-in electric vehicles, working much like a phone charger but on a larger scale, converting grid AC power to DC power for the vehicle's battery, with key types being slower AC Charging (Levels 1 & 2) using the car's internal converter.

And faster DC Fast Charging (Level 3) where the station handles the AC-to-DC conversion for rapid power delivery directly to the battery, essential for supporting the EV industry and reducing range anxiety.
